Terms & Conditions

Little Angels Nanny and Nursery Agency is here to help you find that special someone to take care of your children. You will need to accept our Terms & Conditions below when registering with us.

1. Little Angels acts as an introductory agency only.
2. • Little Angels provides the information on an applicant, which we thoroughly check. And therefore leaves it up to the client to make a decision whether or not they are suitable enough.
   • If an applicant is successful it means you have agreed to our terms and conditions and that the fees are payable in due course.
3. • Little Angels charges a £20.00 registration fee, which must be paid upon completion of the registration form. Registration fees are non-refundable. If an applicant is accepted, employment fees are to be paid within two weeks of receiving the invoice, or before the applicant is due to start work. Immediate payment is due for temporary staff and babysitters.
   • Temporary fees are non-refundable if a client wishes to cancel a booking. Refunds are only given if a) the nanny fails to make it to work due to illness or, b) the agency is at fault.
   • Invoices are sent first class and the agency will always assume they have been received the following day unless told otherwise.
   • A 5% surcharge or £5 minimum charge, whichever greater will be added every week the payment is late. Two weeks for permanent staff and immediate payment for babysitters and temporary staff. Little Angels has the right to withdraw an applicant from working if payment has not been made.
   • Clients are responsible for telling Little Angels if an applicant is successful, fees are then payable on acceptance of an applicant not when they are due to start.
   • Clients that introduce nannies to other parties are liable to pay fees if the agency originally made the introduction to you.
   • If within 12 months you should employ or re-employ an applicant that Little Angels introduced to you then you will be liable to pay Little Angels a fee. You will not need to pay another registration fee.
   • If you keep a temporary member of staff on for longer than originally stated you will be liable to pay fees for as long as you retain to employ them. The agency must be notified immediately of this. Temporary fees are not discountable against permanent fees.
   • A charge of 50% of your fee will be made if you cancel a booking, even if it is a verbal or written agreement it still applies to all fees.
   • A minimum of 24 hours notice is required when cancelling a babysitter or a minimum of 3 hours is payable to the babysitter.
4. All Little Angels introductions are strictly confidential.
5. Little Angels accepts no liability or responsibility for any kind of loss, damage, expense to your property and any acts or omissions by the applicant directly or indirectly to yourselves as a result of our introduction. It is up to you as to the suitability of an applicant. We do recommend good insurance cover.
6. Employees are responsible for all payments to be made to the applicant, which include their wages, and any travel expenses (which include any interview travel expenses), and also you are responsible for your employers tax and national insurance contributions. We can advise you on this.
7. May we remind you that the terms and conditions of a contract are between you the employer and the employee and not between the employer and the agency.
